Ecumenical Ash Wednesday Services

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. It begins the 40-day season of prayer and fasting leading to Easter. The ashes are a reminder of our mortality and need for repentance, that “you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). The service will be led by Catholic Chaplain Lynn Cooper and Protestant Chaplain Rachael Pettengill-Rasure. All are welcome to join us. Sponsored by the Tufts University Chaplaincy.
