Hindu Students Council Moves Weekly Puja to Chapel

Tufts Hindu Students Council used to worship in a classroom space, but was unable to use the candles required for aarti and had to keep the images of their deities in a trunk under a stairway. This fall when the Chaplaincy learned of this, we asked if they would be willing to worship in Goddard Chapel. They did not know that they could and were honored. Since September, weekly HSC pujas have taken place in Goddard on Tuesday nights, as well as special events like Saraswati puja, asking the Goddess of Wisdom for her help with final exams.
