Goddard Gets New Accessible Automatic Door

In an effort to make Goddard Chapel more accessible to everyone and people of all abilities, over the summer, Tufts Facilities department installed a new accessible, automatic door to the tower entrance of the chapel. This door will allow the differently-abled to easily enter and navigate our chapel. The craftsmanship of this beautiful wood door is a wonderful enhancement to the chapel and replaces a door that was disintegrating with the mortar of the doorway. Two new doors and frames were carved and installed, along with new lighting, flooring and paint in the vestibule.
