Transgender Day of Remembrance Art Exhibit 2018-2019
Friday, January, 18th, 2019 Announcements
Each year, the University Chaplaincy and the LGBT Center co-sponsor a student art project in recognition of the lives lost to anti-transgender violence as commemorated by Trans Day of Remembrance in November. The project seeks both to offer space for reflection among both trans and cis members of our community on the magnitude of violence the trans community faces and to celebrate the lives of trans and non-binary people affected by violence.
