About the Humanist Community at Tufts

The humanist community at Tufts is a community of humanists, atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, the nonreligious, the spiritually questioning, and friends. We seek to provide an alternative, moral community to our members. We hold weekly discussion meetings on Thursdays, where we talk about a wide variety of topics, from science and politics to ethics and spirituality. But we’re not all talk — we hang out at jam sessions, movie nights, community dinners, and parties. We also believe strongly in building community through service, and work with several local community organizations on service projects. We are active in the interfaith community on campus and strive to support other social justice causes.
