Whether you’re looking for a quiet moment between classes or a lively room filled with friendly faces and great food, the Muslim Chaplaincy is your home base at Tufts. Built in close partnership with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and graduate student networks, our community celebrates the rich cultural and spiritual tapestry of Muslims from every corner of the globe. There’s no single way to be Muslim here—we honor every individual’s personal journey and pace. Expect creative programming, open-hearted conversations, and an environment where you can anchor your faith, build lifelong friendships, and simply be yourself.

About this Community

At its core, our community is all about deep connection, spiritual care, and community organizing. We gather weekly at the Interfaith Center for Friday Jummah, meet for chaplain-led discussion circles, host laid-back social hangouts at the Muslim House, and come together for warm Ramadan iftars. Beyond daily programming, we empower student advocacy, celebrate global Islamic traditions, and offer confidential one-on-one support when life gets heavy. Together with our campus partners, we work to build bridges across Tufts while keeping physical and spiritual well-being front and center.
