Find Community. Get Support.

Whether you're looking for friendship, faith, reflection, service, cultural connection, ethical exploration, or a place to ask life's bigger questions, there are many ways to get involved through the Office of Religious and Philosophical Life.

Support for Undergraduate Students

Our chaplains support students of all religious, spiritual, ethical, and philosophical backgrounds, and serve as confidential resources for members of the Tufts community.

Student Organizations

Student-led organizations, chaplaincies, and interfaith programs offer opportunities to connect with others, explore what matters most to you, and make Tufts feel like home. Religious and Philosophical Student Organizations (RPSOs) are student-led communities that bring Jumbos together around shared traditions, values, interests, and experiences.

Looking for Something Different?

Don't see a community that reflects your interests or tradition? Explore the creation of a new Religious and Philosophical Student Organization. Before beginning the process, prospective groups must consult with Religious and Philosophical Life regarding university policies and recognition requirements.

Weekly Gatherings and Programs

Join weekly gatherings, discussions, celebrations, observances, and other opportunities designed to foster community and personal growth.

Navigating Community Wisely

Exploring new communities is an important part of university life. We encourage students to learn about the hallmarks of healthy communities and how to recognize high-pressure or controlling groups.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Our chaplains and advisors can help you explore communities, programs, and opportunities that align with your interests, beliefs, questions, and experiences.
