Vibrant, welcoming, and deeply nourishing, Hindu Life at Tufts is a place to recharge your spirit, explore timeless wisdom, and build lasting bonds. In partnership with the Hindu Students Association (HSA) and Graduate Hindu Students Association (GHSA), we celebrate the incredible breadth of Hindu culture, philosophy, and spiritual practice. From weekly reflections and discussion groups to high-energy holiday celebrations, we foster an environment where you can nourish your mind, body, and soul. Whether you want to dive into sacred texts, practice devotion, or simply celebrate your heritage with friends, our doors are wide open.

Born out of strong student initiative, our community bridges ancient traditions with the realities of modern college life. We celebrate major cultural and spiritual milestones together—turning campus into a burst of light and color during Diwali and Holi—while keeping weekly gatherings grounded in dialogue, reflection, and mutual care. The chaplaincy provides confidential guidance, coordinates interfaith initiatives, and creates spaces where students can freely discuss identity, ethics, and spirituality. It’s a supportive anchor designed to help you thrive throughout your time at Tufts.
