For many Humanists and people outside organized religion, the Winter Solstice has historically marked a transition not only of the seasons but of our experience of the world. The day with the shortest length of daylight reminds us both of the stress that comes with the new year and of the power of our relationship to the sun to shape how we respond to that stress. This year, the Solstice will occur on December 21st.

Though we’ll be on winter break at that time, the end of the term too brings with it a great amount of change, and to celebrate that change sometimes we need to come together and take a breath! Drop by the Interfaith Center as you prepare for finals and the changing season for a relaxing environment with pizza, refreshments, and games with the Humanist Community at Tufts! All are welcome, feel free to come anytime between 6pm and 8pm on Friday, December 8th. RSVP on the Facebook event page!
