Welcome! My name is Dan Bell and I am the Protestant Chaplain at Tufts University. The Protestant community at Tufts is a strong and vibrant one representing a number of denominational backgrounds and affiliations. Our backbone is the Protestant Students Association (PSA) and its Executive Board. I work closely with them to offer programming that meets the spiritual needs of students on campus. Our primary gathering time is Sunday at 7pm in Goddard Chapel, where we meet for Protestant Evening Worship (PEW). We also offer several weekday programs, such as a Thursday night prayer and spiritual reflection time called Compline. I am on campus several days a week and am happy to meet for coffee or in my office at the Interfaith Center. Please do not hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to meet or reach me with questions. I also host Chat with a Chaplain, my “office hours” at campus cafes. Follow me @jumbochaplain on Twitter to find out more.
The Protestant Chaplaincy and PSA strive to be a radically welcoming and inclusive community. We invite people of every race, color, national and ethnic origin, age, religious background, veteran status, ability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression to bring the fullness of who they are into this community. All are welcome. All are valued as part of the community. All are loved by God.
