For the past two years, small group reflections with the Tufts Humanist Chaplaincy have offered a comfortable environment for people to engage in honest discussion\u00a0around the challenges in their lives, and to explore how people outside traditional religion approach questions that many faith traditions engage regularly. Our day to day lives, on campus and off, can be challenging just as they are exciting, but we don’t always have a structured hour in the week to sit down and reflect on the way we’ve grown, and the lessons we can learn from the experiences of others.<\/p>\n

We certainly want to maintain that space, but starting this week, we want to offer something a bit different and perhaps even more fulfilling. With the Humanist Community at Tufts, this small group reflection will encourage everyone\u00a0to bring their own pieces of inspiration–poems, readings, songs, art, or any artifact that helps you understand and tell your story. Together, we’ll share our sources of inspiration and explore how we draw meaning from them. The Humanist in Residence will introduce the conversation to foster an open and respectful space, but it is of course first and foremost a time for everyone to share and connect with one another.<\/p>\n

\"nature-sky-sunset-man\"<\/a>The upcoming\u00a0small group reflection will be on\u00a0Friday<\/strong>, January 27th<\/strong>, at 5:30pm\u00a0in the Interfaith Center<\/strong>\u00a0downstairs meeting room. Small group reflections are open to all members of the Tufts community, irrespective of anyone’s belief background.
