For many people, religious or nonreligious, the Winter Solstice has historically marked a transition not only of the seasons but of our experience of the world. The day with the shortest length of daylight reminds us both of the stress that comes with the new year and of the power of our relationship to the sun to shape how we respond to that stress. This year, the Northern Hemisphere Winter Solstice will occur on Saturday, December 21st.\"\"<\/p>\n

Though we’ll be on winter break at that time, the end of the term too brings with it a great amount of change, and to celebrate that change sometimes we need to come together and take a breath! Join us at the Interfaith Center at the end of a long semester for dinner and time for reflection, with ourselves and in community. We’ll celebrate the winter solstice together during our regular meeting time at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5 in the Interfaith Center.<\/strong> All are welcome.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
