Sunday, November 9, 2-5 pm (training), 5-6 pm (dinner), Interfaith Center (58 Winthrop Street)

As part of a new series of leadership development programs for student leaders of religious and philosophical student organizations (and others who are interested), the University Chaplaincy is sponsoring an Anti-Oppression/Anti-Racism Training with support from the organization Boston Mobilization. In this training, we will explore definitions of power, privilege, and oppression; share personal narratives of the intersections of race and religion/philosophy; discuss the four dimensions of oppression; explore ways leaders in all contexts can create more equitable communities and become allies to others; and build relationships and have fun. Following the training, a delicious Thai dinner will be served. All are welcome. To RSVP, please email Zachary.Cole@tufts.edu.
