Thursday, April 21, 6-8 pm, Goddard Chapel

As the religious landscape in America as we know it continues to change, we’re faced with the practical question of how to make sure people on the cusp of that change are getting the resources of support that they need. Different chaplaincies have taken different approaches to serving the rising populations of ‘nones’–nonreligious, atheist, agnostic, Humanist, etc.–and other nontraditionally religious community members. Can those approaches be collaborative? Do they effectively deal with the nuances of our new spiritual identities? Is “chaplaincy” as we’ve always understood it growing outdated?

Join the Tufts Humanist Chaplaincy for a dinner and panel discussion featuring experts from prison chaplaincy, hospice care, and university chaplaincy to discuss these questions and offer questions of your own. People of all religious and philosophical backgrounds are invited and encouraged to attend.
