Fridays, April 17-May 8, 12:30-1:15 pm, Interfaith Center

Being Muslim is Being Me is a blog and Friday lunch series (12:30-1:15 in the Interfaith Center), hosted by the Muslim Chaplaincy and the Tufts Muslim Student Association. The initiative is designed to raise awareness about the diversity of Muslims in our Tufts community. The hope is to show Islam and Muslims in a more accessible and personable context in order to help change stereotypical perceptions. The informal conversations over lunch will be facilitated by Tufts Muslim Chaplain Celene Ibrahim-Lizzio and members of the MSA. Student speakers will share personal stories. The lunch series is co-sponsored by the AS&E Diversity Fund. All are welcome to attend. Learn more here.
